Calling all Bellevue High School Owls

Sad to say with the closing of Bellevue High School, we lost the ability most high schools have to keep up with fellow classmates. There's no rolls or Alumni Association to do it for us, we have had to scrape around and try to do it with only the help of yearbooks. And guess what? A lot of us didn't hang around for class pictures. I might have been smoking back behind the middle school gym with folks like Matt Hadden, Tim Johnson and Melissa Ward.I had my picture made the first year I was there (8th grade), but when I found out I could skip it, I did (I hate pictures of me--they are usually bad).

What does this all mean? We can't find a lot of our alums because we have forgotten their names simply because they weren't in the yearbook or lost touch with us. Some of us seem to be getting forgetful too, and we just can't remember anyone's names anymore. We can't find another group of alums because they have disappeared into parts unknown. Some just got married and have an different name. Some I suspect don't want to be found and others don't know they are lost.

So this is just a plea for those old Owls from Nashville, Tennessee's Bellevue High--contact us. Even if you just want to tell us to leave you alone--well that will be alright too.

  1. Why not make this a 1976-1977 reunion.....

  2. I am not a member of the alumni of Bellevue High School, but I am working on a book about a Nashvillian who was on the school board when Bellevue High School was closed. What state championships did Bellevue win in the 70's?
